Mylar® MO polyester film is a high-performance electrical insulation material designed for motors and generators, offering excellent dielectric strength, low moisture absorption, low shrinkage, and strong cut-through resistance. Available in a 5 mil thickness, it is also used in thicker gauges through Mylar® MO21 at 7.5, 9, 10, 12, and 14 mil. This versatile PET film is ideal for slot liners, wedges, phase insulation, diaphragms, and industrial laminations, with reliable thermal durability for Class B applications. It processes well on automatic insertion equipment and performs consistently in high-temperature environments where moisture, chemical resistance, and dimensional stability are critical.
