Mylar® WC polyester film is a clear, flexible electrical-grade insulation film designed for wire and cable core wrap applications in telecommunications and power transmission. It offers excellent dielectric strength, low moisture absorption, strong cut-through resistance, low shrinkage, and high thermal durability. Available in thicknesses from 0.48 to 5 mil, it features a tensile strength of 27,000 psi MD, dielectric strength up to 13.5 kV, and a melting point of 254°C.
