Mylar® MO is a hazy polyester electrical insulation film designed for motor applications, offering excellent dielectric performance, cut-through resistance, low shrinkage, and low moisture absorption. In the 500 gauge, 0.13 mm thickness, it delivers a dielectric strength of 13.5 kV and UL 94 VTM-2 flame resistance. Typical properties include 1.3923 g/cc density, 140% MD elongation, 115% TD elongation, and shrinkage of 1.1% MD and 0.7% TD at 150°C. Its high thermal durability and stable dimensions make it ideal for slot, wedge, and phase insulation.
